HURON, OH 1809-2009
the lake, the river, the land, the life
Huron is proud to celebrate its past 200 years and looks forward to an eventful year to mark the occasion. A Planning Committee has been working to make 2009 a memorable year so that all citizens of and visitors to the City of Huron will long remember and cherish our proud history on this Great Lake Place.
We are in great need of volunteers to make this year’s events successful. Look over the list of tentatively planned activities, and the tentative schedule. and if you see something that catches your fancy and you would like to help, please email us here to get started. You may involve your family, civic group, neighborhood, or other circle of friends as we all work together to make this the biggest Huron Celebration ever!
